Home Safe

A Rescue, A Refuge, and a Restored Future

We recently had the honor of welcoming a Person of Hope into one of our H3 safe houses—a young man rescued from human trafficking, whose journey reminded us of God’s perfect timing and relentless love.

For three weeks, he lived as part of the Kabod family. He was welcomed into safety, surrounded by love, and gently ministered to as the presence of God brought peace to his heart and restoration to his soul.

Though words were few, his eyes told the story—of relief, of healing, and of hope returning.

He said, “When I’m with you, things happen. When you’re not there, nothing happens…”

We reminded him: it’s not us—it’s Jesus. He is the Rescuer. The Redeemer. The One who made a way home.

In that short time, his heart softened. He began to laugh, joke, and share his deep desire to be reunited with his mama and his dog, Ruby. He wasn’t just longing for safety—he was longing for family.

By God’s grace, we were able to provide trauma-informed care, security, and full repatriation. Through countless prayers, the support of many, and the faithfulness of Jesus, that longing became a reality.

His words upon reuniting with his mama were simple and sacred:

“Thank you so much for helping me to get home to my mama… She is much better because of your prayers. God Bless!”

This is the power of rescue. This is the love of the Father in action.

He is no longer hidden in the shadows—he is home. He is safe. And his story is just beginning.

Thank you for standing with us in prayer and faith.

All glory to Jesus—the One who heals, restores, and brings the lonely into family.
