Strengthening Community and Foundations

As we advance our mission to support individuals rescued from human trafficking, we are committed to establishing a Transformation Center that will serve as a sanctuary of healing and growth. This center will be a safe haven where survivors can receive the specialized care they need to rebuild their lives and reclaim their futures.

In February, the Sewing Seeds team joined us with their remarkable efforts. They fortified the foundation, leveled and refinished the floors, and marked the future Transformation Center with scriptures during heartfelt prayers.

Throughout the week, the Sewing Seeds team not only laid the groundwork for our expanding aftercare programs but also empowered communities and individuals with sustainable practices. 

Their contributions, from instilling hope and healing to sharing the love of Jesus and teaching practical skills like food preservation, enable women to better care for their families.

It was truly a joy to collaborate with such amazing individuals.

Building For Future Generations

Over the past 8 years, our annual Hands Team of 80-150 mighty men has been a beacon of hope in Belize, empowering leaders and transforming lives through annual leadership conferences and community projects, impacting over 5000 individuals, 10+ churches, and hundreds of families.

This year, our efforts aligned with the touching story of a single mother who has fostered over 8 children, including one with special needs, and is now caring for her teenage granddaughter. 

Blessed with land but needing a home, she was extremely blessed as we rallied to lay foundations and build walls for what she calls her 'miraculous house and ministry center.’

Overwhelmed by the generosity, this mama's gratitude knows no bounds. For her, this home is more than shelter; it's a sanctuary of hope and belonging, where the love of Jesus shines for all who enter. Her story highlights the unity and compassion of our partnership, fostering resilience and faith through life's challenges.

“The floor and setting out of the walls was a huge step we had not been able to accomplish without the extra strength and encouragement of the team. The activity on site brought encouragement and strength that is hard to express. The men brought so much enthusiasm and interest in the kids, our story, and the land. In extremely hot conditions, they pressed on and sacrificed to help us move forward as much as possible.

Kabod not only facilitated a huge blessing for our family, but they also gave themselves in time, workers, equipment, and belief in us. Our family will literally be impacted for generations to come.”
