Band of Brothers 2025

March 2025

Band of Brothers Bootcamps are powerful weekend experiences for men, designed to help them recover and strengthen their warrior hearts. Rooted in brotherhood, truth, and transformation, these events are held in locations all around the world. The Belize Bootcamp launched in 2016 and continues to be a place where men encounter deep healing, purpose, and strength—and this year was no different.

This year’s Band of Brothers Bootcamp, held in March, was marked by powerful preparation and even greater impact. In the days leading up to the event, the leaders spent intentional time in prayer, setting the atmosphere and preparing the grounds for what was to come. Over 60 men from every district of Belize—and a few from the U.S.—gathered for the weekend. Many leaders noted that as the men arrived, it was clear they came engaged, hungry, and expectant for real life change.

The weekend wasn’t just about soul work—it was packed with grit and good times.

The men broke bread together at every meal, building brotherhood around the table. In their downtime, they took to the range and the field—sinking arrows in archery, slinging axes, battling it out in ping pong and cornhole showdowns, and going all-in during a fierce tug of war. It was raw, real, and exactly what brothers need.

Amidst the action and camaraderie, there were powerful moments of sincere soul-searching and deep encounters with the Lord.

Throughout the weekend, men were invited to meet God on a heart level—wrestling with truth, healing old wounds, and opening up to transformation. During ministry times, the leadership team came alongside them, offering conversation, prayer, and brotherly strength as the men pressed into what God was doing in their lives.

A Time for Testimonies

We take the privacy of the men who attend Band of Brothers Bootcamps very seriously. While we want to give all glory and thanks to the Lord for the powerful ways He moved this year, we also honor the sacredness of what takes place at camp. The testimonies shared here are just a few of many—but names and details have been kept anonymous to protect the integrity of this being a sealed and safe space.

"The most impactful part of the Bootcamp for me was that I came with a full mind and heart, but I was broken. I wasn't sure if I could get it right to surrender to Papa and now I really feel so free, I really do. I listen to all the leaders story of their life and I could say how Papa has done for me, but I was blind to it. He pulled me out of a rough patch and now I am ready for Him. I give my heart and love to Him."

"The most impactful part of the bootcamp was the example of masculinity that was presented in the teaching. The fearlessness, leadership, self reliance, strength is the image of manhood I must embody in myself. It has changed my direction in who I aspire to become as a man. Not the harmless little boy the world wants me to be. I am a warhorse and I am resilient."

"The most impactful part of the Bootcamp for me was it speaking of forgiveness of the one's that have hurt you in life especially from the one's you love, feeling of if you're fighting for something that will never happen. Also a new opening in praising the Lord, a change in the way I worship in song."

Salvation In His Name

During one of the sessions there was an altar call. The men were told to stand if they would like to give their life to Jesus for the first time or recommit if they had drifted. Every man in attendance stood, thats over 60 people choosing to put God first.

Think of the power in that! Those men are fathers, grandfathers, brothers, sons, friends all making the decision to follow Jesus and be the man they were called to be. That is where true transformation begins! That is how you change a nation! We give all glory to God for the work He did in their hearts!

As the leadership team closed out the bootcamp, they stood in awe of all that God had done. Prayers were answered, chains were broken, and hearts were reclaimed. The atmosphere was filled with gratitude and reverence as they looked out at a group of men forever changed. Many came in weary, wounded, and searching—but they left renewed, empowered, and ready to make a difference in their families, communities, and the world.
