The Journey Beyond Freedom

At just 25, K.V. has endured unthinkable challenges but has emerged with strength and hope. Growing up in a small village, her childhood was filled with simple joys—until she became a victim of human trafficking.

For three years, she faced unimaginable trauma.

Now, K.V. pours her creativity into painting, gardening, and studying, dreaming of a future in home design, culinary arts, or even aviation. With her residency approved, she reflects:

“No one else will be the owner of my life, other than the faith that guides me and my determination to move forward. I am a survivor, and every day I fight to change my future while helping others who may be in the same situation I once was.”
