Machaca Summer Camp

This month was all about summer camp, a powerful time dedicated to bringing together the youth of Belize to experience the love of Jesus and the vibrant community of His people. Each day was filled with laughter, meaningful connection, and unforgettable, life-changing moments that will leave a lasting impact on every heart.

Starting July 2nd, we kicked off our highly anticipated Machaca Summer Camp, hosting 150 youth from Belize, ages 7 to 20. Campers were divided into four separate camps based on age range, each running for three days packed with fun, growth, and unforgettable moments. Older campers took part in hands-on workshops covering topics like emergency medical response, media journalism, and coding. While the younger ones rotated through engaging sessions in Bible, sports, and crafts.

Each camp featured special events like banquet night, the mom and pop breakfast, and the all-team Machaca Cup football tournament. Camp teams competed in big group games and daily challenges to earn points toward the title of Machaca Champ and the coveted champ shirt. The theme of this year was Victory Lap, and during chapel times, campers lifted their voices in worship and received powerful messages about running the race of life with purpose and living in a way that builds God's Kingdom and echoes into eternity.
